Raumati picked for tax reform group


Parininihi ki Waitotara Incorporation chair and former Tainui Group Holdings chief financial officer Hinerangi Raumati has been appointed to the group to review the fairness, structure and balance of New Zealand's tax system.
The tax working group will be chaired by former finance minister Sir Michael Cullen.
It also includes lawyers, accountants, Business New Zealand chief executive Kirk Hope, former Inland Revenue deputy commissioner Robin Oliver, and Council for Trade Unions economist and policy director Bill Rosenberg.
