CE Te Ohu Kaimoana, Dion Tuuta
Last year the National government announced it would establish the Kermadecs Marine Sanctuary but as the country is still waiting who will be the next government is this still on the table.
The Chief executive of Te Ohu Kaimoana Dion Tuuta had concerns about the sanctuary affecting Maori Fishing Rights and the Maori fisheries settlement so we ask him to give his thoughts about this kaupapa.
He will also give his thoughts on the announcement from the island nation of Niue who have declared they will establish a marine sanctuary.
