Puzzle maker pick for MTS governance

Digital game creator Maru Eva Nihoniho from Te Whanau a Apanui, Ngati Porou and Ngai Tahu has been appointed to the Maori Television Board.
Her company Metia Interactive has won international awards for its Cube puzzle game and Sparx, an online e-therapy tool that helps young people learn skills to deal with feeling depressed or stressed.
Maori Development Minister Te Ururoa Flavell says Ms Nihoniho has innovative and leading edge experience in her sector as well as acumen in business management, company performance, strategy implementation and operating in the international arena.
Maori Television formally opened its new south Auckland headquarters this morning.
