Potaka Maipi on Paakiwaha
Potaka has a media background where he’s been involved in radio and television as a presenter and reporter.
He's also in a number of top management roles over the years, such as Senior Director for Ngaati NRL, Media Advisor for the Maaori Party, as well as working alongside iwi, Maaori and political organisations.
Potaka is now the producing Marae, which screens on TV1 Sunday mornings.
He talks with Dale Husband about his role as producer.
Potaka has Tainui and Te Ati Awa whakapapa.
