Whanau Ora Minister Te Ururoa says two reports on the first year of the Whanau Ora commissioning agency model show the three agencies reached almost 6000 whanau.
He says Te Pou Matakana, Te Putahitanga o Te Waipounamu and Pasifika Futures are a test case for the Government’s focus on social investment.
The reports released this week show the agencies are more networked and connected to communities, closer to whanau and better informed about their needs.
They identify what works well, and where improvements can be made to make the model even more effective.
