Donald Trump, you’re hired !

Donald Trump, you're hired !
WILLIE JACKSON
You’re a racist, you’re a racist, that’s what President-elect Donald Trump said Hillary Clinton supporters were calling him at every opportunity. Add the terms misogynist, sexist, pig, dog and con-artist which is what movie star Robert De Niro called him and you have to wonder how Trump won?
Now I should make it clear that I am not a Trump supporter, however I have said for some time that I completely understand the Trump appeal.
Your average working class person had a gutsful of politics, the establishment, political correctness and being totally forgotten in their own country. Millions of them reside in the Rust Belt area. Trump made a lot promises to these people who had become statistics, he gave them hope that he might be able to do something and his motto of making America great again went down brilliantly ironically though it wasn’t that vote that won it for him. Hillary Clinton could not activate the Obama supporters and lost 10 million votes.
The top movie maker Michael Moore knew exactly what the feeling of the people was when he said that Trump was going to win the election. Moore said Trump would focus on the Rust Belt and the traditional Democratic states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Trump would focus on the angry white man and their total resentment about what was happening in America.
Moore was right on both accounts, but was also right when he said that you couldn’t just write off Trump’s supporters as all racists and sexists. There’s no doubt that a lot of Trump’s supporters are that, but then millions of Trump’s supporters whether the left and Hilary supporters want to believe it or not are just good average American’s who want to make a better life for their families. That is an undeniable fact, you just have to look at the numbers.
Trump couldn’t have become President if just white males voted for him. He got 52% of working class women, 29% of Latino’s and picked up 8% of the black vote which shows you that many Americans didn’t care about Trump’s dubious past with women or the racist and sexist taint that was attached to his campaign. What they value most are jobs and opportunities and Trump is promising to deliver for them. Now I don’t think he will but then who would dare bet against him succeeding after his shock win?
It was incredible what he did, he was opposed by the establishment, the press, the democrats, republican leaders, Presidents Obama, Clinton, George Bush Senior and Bush Junior. The world’s greatest singers, actors and sportsmen came out against him but he beat them all, maybe Donald Trump should be given his chance.
