Moon rebuked for Gaza fool jab

The Green Party’s human rights spokesperson is brushing off claims her participation in a peace flotilla to Gaza was foolish or a waste of time.
Marama Davidson was deported from Israel after the boat carrying 13 prominent women was stopped by three Israeli warships enforcing a blockade of the besieged territory.
Her participation was branded a 'less than perfect look' by Prime Minister John Key and a 'ship of fools' by AUT history Professor Paul Moon.
Ms Davidson says Professor Moon needs to look at the calibre of the women on board and the non-violent and dignified way they responded to a massive display of military aggression.
"We were very clear that we were going to do nothing to invite any further harm to either ourselves or the Israeli soldiers. If Paul Moon was interested in actual conversation about the important issue of the Israeli-Palestine conflict to the world and to all of us, he would have come up with something a little bit better than that," she says.
Marama Davidson says she has never felt as homesick as she felt in a cell at the Israeli detention centre before being put on a plane back home.
