Silver Saturday FREE white water
Vector Wero Whitewater Park is turning on the pumps for free to celebrate Luuka Jones’ Olympic medal with a Silver Saturday.
Paddlers can share some of Luuka’s silver medal glory with the grade 2 Tamariki River running for free from 11.30am to 12.30pm, on Saturday August 13.
The grade 3-4, Olympic River Rush will pump for free from 1 to 2pm.
“We are so proud of Luuka and want everyone to come and party like they were in Rio,” says Ian Ferguson, general manager Vector Wero Whitewater Park.
Safety conditions apply and if you can’t kayak – just come along and watch for free.
