Sunshine Coast netball coach Noeline Taurua on Paakiwaha
ANZ Championship winning-coach Noeline Taurua has been named as the woman to guide the Sunshine Coast team which is set to feature in next year's national league.
Taurua steered the Southern Steel to the minor premiership in the trans-Tasman competition this year, before bowing out to the eventual champion Queensland Firebirds in week two of the finals.
Highly-rated, she propelled the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic to championship success in 2012.
It was the only occasion a New Zealand-based team won the title.
