Whanganui reggae band Cool Meditation is looking forward to opening up Raggamuffin tomorrow at the Trusts Stadium in Henderson.
Member Rodney Te Tawhero says it entered the talent quest to win to spot because its nine members just want to jam anywhere at any time.
They’re also coming to grips with the recording side of the business, with a new single, Thank Jah, released last week at its Road to Raggamuffin gig.
"We've previously released 2 singles called "Love" and "Think of you". We're aiming to drop the whole album on the 1st of May, the first day of New Zealand Music Month so we've got a bit of mahi ahead of us," he says.
Cool Meditations will warm up the Raggamuffin stage for the likes of UB40, Wu Tang Clan and The Game
