Dr Dean Mahuta on Paakiwaha

Dr Dean Mahuta from Te Ipukarea, the National Maori Language Institute.

They will be holding their conference this Thursday.

It will be the second Te Puna o te Kii conference which will be held at Nga Wai o Horotiu Marae.

The institute was established in 2008 which has a focus on the pursuit of excellence in scholarship, teaching and research in the Maori language.
