Funders of social programmes have been given a chance to hear the impact their money is making on people's lives.
Social Value Aotearoa held its first Good Story networking event in Henderson last night.
Jo Nicholson from Waipareira's Wai Whanau says it allowed people to talk about the changes and the values that actually matter to them.
"It’s actually listening to that and working out how we can report that value and maybe quantify it or qualify it so that so funders get a better idea of the programme’s impact from the whanau’s perspective. That’s really important and as we move to reporting outcomes and collaborative impact and so on it makes sense to be reporting that impact and that value," she says.
