Time running out for Maori digital challenge

Time is running out for people to get their business concepts into DigMyIdea, a Maori digital innovation challenge.
Antony Royal from the national Maori broadband working group Nga Pu Waea says there has been a lot of discussions about the challenge on social media.
He says the ultra fast broadband roll out will make New Zealand one of the most connected places on the planet, and Maori need to be thinking about the kind of products and services that will make them part of the digital economy.
He says they are looking for people who can come up with a digital business idea that has the potential to go global.
Entries for DigMyIdea need to be in by October 18.
The top individuals or teams in each category will attend the DIGIwananga workshop weekend in Auckland in November to develop and refine their ideas before overall winners are selected.
