Miromoda is moving its fashion design competition to the Waikato.
Event manager Montess Hughes says the switch from Wellington is so the Maori fashion promoter can be part of a Celebrating Raupatu Women event at the Waikato Museum on June 27.
The evening will include a fashion show by seven previous Miromoda designers and the 2105 winner.
Ms Hughes says 20 shortlisted designers have been shortlisted to present to judges at Novotel Tainui in Hamilton that day.
The winners and runners up in four categories will be part of a Miromoda showcase at New Zealand Fashion Week in Auckland in late August.
