Guam calls for Maori artists
Creative New Zealand wants to hear from Maori and Pacific artists who want to represent Aotearoa at next year's 12th Festival of Pacific Arts in Guam.
The festival, which is held every four years, brings together more than 2000 indigenous artists, performers and other cultural practitioners from 27 Pacific nations.

Delegation head Darrin Haimona, who chair's the council's Maori committee, says they are looking for a mix of accomplished and emerging artists from within Maori and New Zealand-based Pacific communities.
Individual artists, groups and organisations that practice a wide range of artforms, including customary and contemporary arts, are invited to apply.
Creative New Zealand will pay for delegates’ travel, meals and per diems.
Mr Hamona says it's a great opportunity not just for artists to showcase their work but also to form relationships and find potential collaborators.
Artists are asked to create work relates to the festival’s theme: What we Own, What we Have, What we Share, United Voices of the Pacific.
Applications close on June 10, and the festival will be in May and June 2016.
