Old friends UB40 for Raggamuffin

Brummie dubsters UB40 are on their way back to Aotearoa to headline Raggamuffin at Trusts Arena in Henderson on December 13.
The band have been regular visitors since 1982, and their sunny take on classic reggae sounds have had wide appeal among Maori.
Keyboard player Mickey Virtue says it’s always a treat to come here, and he’s looking forward to catching up with mates in Herbs, who welcomed the band when they first came to Auckland all those years ago.
" If ever I am going to mention a band in New Zealand its going to be the Herbs everytime. Their contribution has been massive. The work that they have done with the tribal issues they can now go to places like Canada and Australia and help the indigenous tribes there to overcome their problems as well " says Mickey Virtue from UB40
