Heartstrings pulled in country heartland
Blue Bach Productions head Tainui Stephens has become a convert to country music under the tutelage of Maori country stars Dennis Marsh and Saelyn Guyton.
They’re getting ready to go on the road filming talent for Maori Television’s second series of My Country Song.
He say’s he's been exposed to the wide range of styles that come under the country korowai, but often it all comes down to being a simple way to tell a story in a song.
Tainui Stephens says the format works so well, Blue Bach is also working on a series My Reggae Song.
