Harre rejects election blame

Internet Party leader Laila Harre is rejecting criticism from Labour leader David Cunliffe that the ill-fated team-up with Mana dragged down other parties on the left.
The former Alliance MP says Mr Cunlifffe should look again at his party’s internal problems and the holier than thou approach Labour and the Greens took to working together strategically.
She says Internet Mana started off well with a successful road trip, including what she felt was a successful connection with Hone Harawira’s base support in the north.
It went off the rails in the last month of the campaign.
"What we really underestimated was how aggressive the attack was going to be on us in the last month and so we were too slow to understand that and too slow to respond," she says.
Laila Harre says the campaign was always a risk, but she had no regrets in taking it on.
