Davis picking up endorsements

Everybody likes Kelvin . . . except Hone.
Labour’s Te Tai Tokerau candidate, Kelvin Davis, picked up the endorsement of New Zealand First leader Winston Peters yesterday.
With the Reid Research-Native Affairs poll showing the list MP neck and neck with incumbent Hone Harawira, that could tip the balance in tomorrow’s election.
Mr Peters says voters in the north need to ensure that Mana-Deutschland does not win, a reference to Internet Party funder Kim Dotcom.
Kelvin Davis also got the thumbs up this week from National leader John Key.
There was also a mixed signal from the Maori Party’s Te Hira Paenga, who while denying he was throwing the race, reminded voters of the importance of strategic voting.
Mr Harawira says strategically the smart thing is to vote for him and get another three Internet Mana MPs into parliament.
