Flavell angered by Peters’ snub


Maori Party co-leader Te Ururoa Flavell is angry that New Zealand First's Winston Peters has ruled out joining a coalition that includes him.
Mr Peters says both the Maori Party and Mana are race-based parties, and he won't work with them if they are still around after the election.
Mr Flavell say New Zealand First was happy to take the Maori vote when it could win Maori seats.
Te Ururoa Flavell says New Zealand First's vote against the Te Urewera-Tuhoe Settlement Bill is another example of Mr Peters turning his back on Maori people.
