Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Maori will launch a new found of Ma re Reo funding at the start of Maori Language Week in July.
Acting chief executive Pita Paraone says the community-based projects funded by the scheme represent Maori language revitalisation at its best.
There will be $2.25 million available to projects that meet the right criteria.
Previous recipients include iwi, hapu, whanau, marae, Maori organisations and individuals.
Online applications at ma-(hyphen)tereo.co.nz open on July 21 and close on August 29.
