Health success stories sought
Organisers of October’s Tu Kaha health conference in Hastings are looking for stories of Maori health success.
Chair Riki Nia Nia says it wants speakers who can share innovative ideas, practical approaches and solutions or achievements relating to improving Maori health.
The biennial conference, which will be held at the Hawke’s Bay Racing Centre, brings together Maori health practitioners from the Central District Health Board region.
Mr Nia Nia says the aim is to build on the strengths of the Maori health network to promote sustainable and effective solutions.
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations need to be in by the end of June.
Abstracts are submitted on line at www.tukaha2014.co.nz
