Round up time for Natis
Te Runanga o Ngati Porou is on the road to meet iwi members living away from the wa kainga.
Organiser Teepa Wawatai says the Nati Connect hui are a way to update taura here on what the iwi is doing, and hear what they want the runanga to do on their behalf.
He says while the runanga is making extensive use to the internet to keep in contact with its people, nothing beats the face to face meeting.
The first Nati Connect hui is this evening from 6 at the Runanga Room at Waikato University’s School of Maori and Pacific Development, and tomorrow it’s at Te Mahurehure Marae in Auckland’s Pt Chevalier.
