Te Wananga o Aotearoa chief executive Jim Mather is signalling major change ahead for the country’s largest Maori tertiary institution.
The wananga is advertising for people to fill roles in a new executive leadership structure.
They include a deputy chief executive and eight new tumu or executive directors, covering curriculum, student services, educational delivery services, marketing, human resources, information technology and finance.
Mr Mather, who took up his role in October after heading Maori Television for most of its first decade, is known for his interest in strategic leadership.
