Synergies but no Mana.com yet

Mana leader Hone Harawira says any decision about Mana dot com is one for the future and one for the membership of both Mana and the new Internet Party to consider.
Kim Dotcom launched his new political party yesterday as well as a membership app that has already drawn enough members for it to seek official certification.
Mr Harawira says while he has talked with the internet entrepreneur about how they can work together, Mana is focused on its own election strategy.
But he says Mr Dotcom can’t be discounted, because he understands the importance of connecting political messages to young people.
"I see synergies in what he is talking about and what we are trying to do in terms of trying to reach our rangatahi. I hear him talking about some simple stuff: greater access to and lower cost for the internet; more high tech jobs in this country, who’s going to argue against that; and less spying on the information of New Zealand citizens Mr Harawira says.
