Mika single tackles bullying

Entertainer Mika says his new single is a message for all the kids who don’t fit in.
Dress To Express is a collaboration with Zakk d’Larte, Hannah Martin and Jay Tewake, with production by Tewake and Alan Jansson of OMC.
Mika says it comes out of his AROHA Project to address bullying.
Dress to Express tells kids to be who they want to be, whatever the obstacles.
He says he likes kids who are different and a bit left out.
"We’ve got obviously quite a few what society would call naughty Maori boys. I don’t think they’re naughty. I just think they see the world differently. These are the guys I am trying to keep in school rather than leaving school, but trying to work with the school to get them to understand they don’t see the world the way the school wants them to, and as we know Maori males are the highest number of dropping out of school," Mika says.
Dress To Express is available from iTunes.
