If you’re heading for Waitangi this week, it’s the last chance to see a major touring exhibition of Maori ceramics at the Whangarei Art Museum.
Uku Rere: Nga Kaihanga Uku & Beyond closes on Sunday.
Put together by Porirua’s Pataka Museum, it includes work by Baye Riddell, Manos Nathan, Colleen Urlich, Wi Taepa, and Paerau Corneal.
There is a talk and question-answer session with Nathan and Urlich on Wednesday afternoon 2pm.
