Tour triumph for Maori All Blacks

The Maori All Blacks have finished their short North American tour undefeated, running in four tries to one against the United States yesterday to win 29-19 in Philidephia yesterday.
Coach Colin Cooper says the result, coming after last week’s drubbing of Canada, honoured the proud legacy of past teams.
The USA led 9-7 at half time, but Maori captain Tim Bateman scored two tries to put his team 10 points ahead.
The Eagles came back within three points with a penalty and converted try and looked a threat until replacement lock Luke Katene sealed the game for the Maori team with a last minute try on debut.
