Birmingham gives up toi moko

Birmingham University is handing over preserved Maori tattooed heads to curators from Te Papa Tongarewa on Friday.
Curators from Te Papa Tongarewa are on their way to England to pick up a collection of toi moko.
Birmingham University says it is keen to send the preserved Māori tattooed heads to their rightful homes.
The museum will undertake research in an attempt to identify which tribal areas the koiwi should be returned to.
A handover ceremony will be held at the museum on Friday.
