Ngati Whatua o Orakei are celebrating the success at its first Atamira on the waterfront.
More than 100,000 people came through The Cloud and Shed 10 over the weekend to see the best in Maori arts and culture.
Director Alec Hawke says it was good to see the support not just from Maori but from Asian visitors and younger Pakeha.
He says it was a great venue he hopes will still be there for the next Atamira Maori in the City in 2015.
"We are so ecstatic about using The Cloud, putting our mana whenuaship on the waterfront we gifted the city of Auckland so many years ago. Ngati Whatua o Orakei has put it in its strategic plan to make sure that events like Atamira and Waitangi Day at Bastion Point are well resourced, so we are very pleased with that decision," Mr Hawke says.
