Eruera switches camos for dean’s
There’s a warning from St John’s Theological College … don’t mess with the new dean.
Katene Eruera has been appointed as Dean, Tikanga Māori, starting at the end of August.
As well as a Master of Theology with Honours from Auckland University, the Kaitaia-raised cleric holds degrees in law and arts.
In keeping with the church’s bi-vocational ministry model, Rev Eruera has been working full time to support his ministry, including a spell in a Whangarei community law, time as a military chaplain in the New Zealand Defence Force, including service in Timor Leste, and most recently a locum ministry in Australia’s Northern Territory.
