From a king to a prince, a gift is on its way from the Māori king to the first-born son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
King Tuheitia says he commissioned the gift from his royal artisans some months ago around the theme of Matariki, focusing on all seven stars of the constellation.
Pictures and design details will be released once the gift is received at the palace.
The baby was born at 4.24pm yesterday London time in St Mary's hospital, weighing 8lb 6oz.
It's the first Prince of Cambridge to be born in 190 years.
