New MP will get warm welcome

Manurewa MP Louisa Wall is looking forward to welcoming another Māori woman to parliament.
Television producer Claudette Hauiti from Ngāti Porou and Ngapuhi is coming in as a National Party list MP to replace Aaron Gilmore of Ngāi Tahu.
She stood for National in Mangere in 2011.
Mr Gilmore, who came back into Parliament in February to replace Lockwood Smith, came under pressure after a dining companion revealed that the MP threatened a waiter who refused to serve him more wine.
Ms Wall says Māori need good advocates across the political spectrum.
"Our representation right across the political spectrum is also indicative of our growth and the role we can play across society in moving our agendas so I look forward to seeing her down there," she says.
Aaron Gilmore will make a personal statement to parliament today.
