The Māori Party wants more done to stop the harm caused by party pills.
Co-leader Tariana Turia says while the Psychoactive Substances Bill will restrict access to legal high drugs, when one product is banned a new one seems to pop up.
She says party pill users were more likely to be male than female, more likely to be Māori and were predominantly aged between 18-34.
She wants more education and warnings on the hazards of consuming party pills, especially in combination with alcohol.
