Te Arawa services form whānau ora collective
Nine Rotorua-based health and social service providers have come together as a collective to deliver Whānau Ora services.
Project Manager Mala Grant says it has taken more than a year to put together Te Arawa Whānau Ora Collective, which is based at the Korowai Aroha Health Centre on Hinemoa Street.
Under the family-centred model, paearahi or navigators work with whānau to identify the strengths they can use to create positive change.
Ms Grant says that can range from budgeting advice to addressing issues such as family and domestic violence.
A new website will give whānau access to the tools they may need.
