Isaac Luke lucky foot for Rabbitohs
Former Kiwis captain Ritchie Barnett says Isaac Luke could be the key to South Sydney getting past the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League preliminary finals.
He says the Rabbitohs are capable of winning if they play at their best and that means the Hawera hooker keeping up the form he has shown in recent games.
“He has to be one of the best running hookers in the game, ahead of Cameron Smith for speed and his acceleration around the ruck, being an ex-winger, adds massive value and if they can jump on the end of those momentum players, I think they’re a real threat,” Barnett says.
The first preliminary is tonight between the Manly Sea Eagles and the Melbourne Storm, with the Broncos and Rabbitohs going head to head tomorrow.
